The Kane County Certified Naturalist program is a fee-based program tailored to individuals who want to learn more about Kane County ecosystems, the preservation and conservation of our green space and Kane County’s cultural and natural history.
To earn certification participants will complete:
1. Core program beginning in January
2. Core program includes 6 core classes and 3 field trips
3. 15 hours of additional coursework
4. 15 hours of volunteering or additional coursework
5. Cost of $250
