A Treemendous Recharge
Enjoy the evening hours at Hickory Knolls and drop in for a self-guided scavenger hunt on the trails. Time to turn off the screens and allow fresh air to recharge you. Pack a picnic dinner to start your evening with a full tummy. No registration required.

The animals like bedtime stories too! Wear your most comfortable pajamas and bring your favorite stuffed animal to meet the critters of Hickory Knolls. Meet some of our friends and they will share some of their favorite stories. End with cookies and milk. Adults are free.

Fall Fireside Fun
Join the St. Charles Public Library for some ‘spirited’ fun around the campfire. Enjoy a fall themed evening with a touch of scary, but not too scary! End the evening with s’more treats that will leave you more sticky than scared.

Bat House Helpers
If you build it, they will come! Help paint a bat house that will be hung on the grounds of Hickory Knolls in a great bat habitat. Enjoy visiting the bat house you helped paint later in the summer when you can see who is calling it home.
